Mood: At work, so you know... The United States has been on overtime policing the globe--Rice in the Gaza strip, Bush in China. "Stop the warring!", "Your religion needs some fixing!"; I'm sick of it, and I presume other countries must feel the same way, if not 100% stronger about it. We're so arrogant and sickening with a fatal case of the pot calling the kettle black. Bush, a suspected 32nd degree Mason, calling for a re-up in religious structure in China. Hello, what about the problem at home with that? Is not America like the next generation Sodom and Gammorah? Aren't we the same ones that tried to remove God from the Pledge of Alliegence? Aren't we the very same ones that saw a huge problem with prayer in school and found horror in the mere mentioning of creationism in the classroom? Even if you don't believe in Creationism, wouldn't you want to at least be informed of it's existing basis? What happened to well-roundedness? It has fallen by the wayside much like most ethics and morals in this country. Which brings up the point of how kids could even begin to establish their own views when so much information is withheld from them. The simple answer is that they can't; not with the thought police on a never ending patrol. Don't get me wrong, our thought control isn't nearly as bad as some other places on this planet, but you don't see them traveling abroad, preaching that their way is the best, whilst their own society is in utter upheaval. The other thing that continually bothers me is that we're trying to silence everyone else's uranium enrichment as to retard already an already looming nuclear threat. Understandable though highly ironic, considering we're the only ones since the beginning of recorded history to have dropped atomic weapons on a massively populated area. Eh. Back to work. Fun fun fun. Oh, and fun, too.
